Romans 8:30
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
Now, here we are Esther has finally made it. Made it to the place of her purpose. She is Queen living a comfortable life when a hit is put out on the Jews. She is now in position to answer the call, In which she first refused. All the king’s officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that they be put to death unless the king extends the gold scepter to them and spares their lives.
Esther 4: 12 When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, 13 he sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape.
14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, (God will raise one up) but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
The call of God is not always to a glamorous vocation, and its fruit in this world is often bittersweet. This is not our home. Yet God calls us according to our gifts and talents, and leads us to paths of the most useful service to His kingdom. ( It's all about the kingdom) That is a place of suffering. That's a place of putting others before yourself. That's a place of solitude at times. That's a place of rejection. That's a place of blind faith. That's a place of death to yourself. Don't fear him that can kill the body but him that can kill the body and soul. Cry aloud and spare not.
Answer the call!
If Jonah had made it to Tarshish, God would have raised one up. If Paul had refused to preach, God would have raised one up. If Jeremiah really had turned in his prophet’s card, God would have raised one up, If Esther had not took a stand for her ppl God would have raised one up. It is no easy job count up the cost but know this. If you do not answer the call God will raise one up. You have been called for a time such as this.
If Jesus had politely declined the cup. You would not be standing here today with an opportunity of eternal life. He too answered the call. You've been justified to be glorified, the grace on your life for a time such as this works in your favor. Fear not, Jesus promised to never leave us not forsake us.
Will you answer the call?
