God Do You Hear Me

59 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

The people thought God could not hear, that he couldn't deliver. Which is never the case. When we sin, we separate ourselves from God. The people had committed sins such as lying, having evil thoughts, and shedding innocent blood. Isaiah compares being separated from God to the loss of light a person who becomes blind. We are not talking about unbelievers here but Gods chosen ppl.

In the times we live in we think going to church, having a title or position in the building gives us good standings with the Lord but it does not. Are we following the commandments of Christ Are we putting our neighbor before ourselves? Are we speaking evil of one another? Are we truly working to set the captive free? Are we relieving the burdens of others? Are we lossening the chains of bondage?

Do we feed the hungry, clothe the less fortunate or do we only take care of our own? God cares about people he sent his only begotten son to die for all people not a select people to reconcile us back to himself. He requires you to die today to your will, lay down your way put the needs of others before your own that Christ may live through you leading his people back to him.

Lord I look in the mirror and ask you to show me myself where I lack, where I am selfish and prideful. Help me to be more compassionate to others. Give me a heart to lead with love and kindness that I may be an efficient witness in the gospel. A true example of Yeshua The Christ. Amen 🙏🏽
