Genesis 6: 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; God begin to give him detailed instructions as he does with us today.
The best choice we can make is to do what the Holy Spirit leads us to do, even if it doesn't make sense, even when others don't understand it or believe it. Can you imagine Noah taking it upon himself to take out a few details to speed up the progress & the boat sinking. Many times this is why things are not flowing in our lives. We are not following the detailed instructions given to us. It's taking to long, there has to be an easier way. Easy doesn't always equal better.
Can u imagine God telling you to build a boat when there has never been any rain. The looks, the jokes, the mocking from the people. Kind of like being a disciple for Christ in a world that no longer believes on him. How can you believe in a man you've never met? How can you preach a gospel that the world fights against? How can u remain selfless in such a selfish environment?
How can we not? Blessed are they that have not seen yet believed. Those that choose to have faith in the son of God. Noah chose to be obedient to the voice of God. We choose to believe in Yeshua the Christ it is because we believe that we obey. Do not allow the cares of this world, or the unbelief of others to cause you to doubt the detailed instructions given to you from the Lord continue to follow them.
"Lord help me to hear your detailed instructions for my life. I place my trust in you completely to lead and guide me. Help me to follow them according to your will and not my own."
