71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
If it had been your enemy you could understand, you could have hid from the attack been prepared but because the act came from the one you call sister, brother or friend it hits differently. The one you looked out for. Some times the one we love the most. I'm here to tell you it's apart of the process. Purifying and purging to help you resemble the heart and love of Christ Jesus. Who is our example in who's image we are created.
Psalm 55:12-14
12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
Betrayal is apart of the process.
Judas broke bread with Jesus, carried the money bag, was hand picked by Christ. Jesus knew he would betray him, yet he never treated him any different. He washed the feet of the man who would for 30pieces of silver set him up to be crucified. I know you're saying he still working on me I could not do it. Guess what you must do it!
Trust the process it had to happen. Just as it has to happen to each one of us. The key is to not allow it to turn your heart. We must remain in an Christ like posture. The power is in becoming better from it and not bitter. Growing through it so much so only our father can be glorified in your actions. Knowing we are not fighting against flesh and blood but this is spiritual warfare. Armor up and respond accordingly.

Amen 🙏🏾
