After This

After the chastisement, after the washing, after the cleansing, after the purging, say "AFTER"

The word of God is quick and powerful sharper than any 2edge sword AFTER the piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and the joint and marrow AFTER... The discerning of the thoughts and intent of the heart.

AFTER

Shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse and a branch shall grow out of it's roots.

This is the promise of Christ first coming. And we all he know he came. When it looks like all is lost. When it looks like it's over. When the hand of God has fallen on you and chastens you it doesn't feel good. After kicking against the prick, after the scales fall from your eyes there is nothing left but a stump.

AFTER the stripping of pride and arrogance. He won't leave you in the shape you are in. The promise has come forth. The rod out of the stem of Jesse. All is not lost there is yet a remnant. God has sent one and his name is Jesus The Christ. His only begotten son and whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have ever lasting life. There is a way and his name is Jesus. he is the way the truth and the life.

After the choices made in this present time, after his hand has been out stretched Revelation 19:11-13 says:  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God

Jesus is coming back but not as a lamb this time but a consuming fire. Endure the chastening, endure the persecution. It will pay off AFTER while.

Romans 8:18  

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
